From organs and hymns to family-centred activities and contemporary music groups, our morning and evening services cater to different tastes and provide something for everyone.

Our sermons and house group studies are based on a theme or book in the bible which has been broken down into weekly messages. We plan a different series for our morning services and our evening services, meaning you will hear a different message in the morning and the evening – it’s worth getting to both if you can, although absolutely not compulsory!

See below for an overview of a typical 9am, 10.30am and 6.30pm service.

9.00am — Traditional

Running from 9.00am until 10.00am, this service is typically a reflective and traditionally styled service, comprising hymns and worship songs (sometimes from the organ, other times from small groups of musicians). The sermon preached at 9.00am is the same (slightly shorter) as that preached at the 10.30am service.

We are currently studying a series on Exodus called Freed to Follow in both our 9.00am and 10.30am services. Why not head to our resources page to download some sermons from this series?

10.30am — All-age worship

Our most well-attended service, the 10.30am attracts families and individuals of all ages and backgrounds, providing fun and teaching for children, a wide range of worship songs and a sermon that follows our latest preaching series.

Créche, children’s groups and youth groups are available and these groups will normally leave the service together when prompted after 15 minutes or so during a song or other convenient opportunity.

The service will usually run until 12noon, after which there are tea, fresh coffee and biscuits served downstairs in our main hall for anyone who would like to join us.

We are currently studying a series on Exodus called Freed to Follow in both our 9.00am and 10.30am services. Why not head to our resources page to download some sermons from this series?

6.30pm — Contemporary

Its timing means this service is often popular with students and young people, but is frequently attended by a wide range of demographics. Often extending until 8pm and sometimes beyond, the evening service provides a wonderful opportunity to worship freely and in a relaxed and open environment.

We are currently studying a series on parables called Seeing Clearly in all our services. Why not head to our resources page to download some sermons from this series?
